About Me

Hi my name is Louise and I am 36 years old. I live at home with my Husband and Two children who are 16 and 13. I also have Two Cats and a Rabbit.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, going on holiday, spending time at the yard with my daughter and her loan horse and going outdoors.

I currently work as a nursery deputy manager within an early years setting and looking for some extra work whilst continuing doing the job I love.

My Experience

I have worked in Early years settings for 21 years, undertaking various roles. This includes: Early years practitioner, room team leader and a nursery manager. Whilst taking on the role of Nursery Manager, I supported a service to make improvements to ensure that the nursery was operating at high standards as stated by the care inspectorate. My most recent role is nursery deputy manager.

I have also had experience working with a diverse range of families as a family support worker within a family centre.

In my personal life, I have worked with children from birth to teenagers due to family being foster carers.

My Qualifications

I have my SVQ Level 2 and 3 in childcare learning and development.
I am currently working towards my BA degree in childhood practice.
I am paediatric first aid trained.
