About Me

Hi, I'm Charleen.

A kind and personable nanny with over 10+ years experience looking after children including raising my own!

I am creative, artistic and have a great love for children and watching them achieve their very best.

Currently I support a lovely family on a part time basis and would love the opportunity to support another family, part time Mondays & Wednesdays only every week - full day (no half days).

I am looking for a family who will value my years of experience with children and needs someone who is proactive, loving, kind and considerate.

My Experience

I have over 40 years of personal hands on experience with children.

In addition to raising a family of my own, including 17 year old boy/ girl twins, my husband and I have 9 grandchildren.

I have supported my mother, a Paediatric Nurse as a carer for two of my younger siblings with SEN for over 30 years. I am the eldest of x5 siblings and held much responsibility for them at a young age.

I have over 10 years professional experience working as a Mothers Help for a woman who has been fostering children and adolescents for over 40 years.

Having worked as a professional PA and House Manager for a family for the past 4 years I can also adapt to provide professional comprehensive support wherever required.

The best Nanny we’ve ever had

Oh wow where to begin… I needed a nanny on a short term basis for my 2 young children and I was so blessed to have found Charleen. She’s attentive, caring, playful, plays with the children in their world, constantly teaching them new skills and is an overall warm soul. You can tell children are drawn to her because she truly cares for them… this was evident to see in my children who kept asking when she will be back. My husband described her as a modern day Mary Poppins (we love Mary Poppins).
I had so much peace knowing my children were in great hands.
We have gained a new friend Charleen and she’s our first point of contact when we need a nanny again. I couldn’t recommend her more

Thank you so much Samia, your family is amazing and l made my job so easy. You guys were also genuinely warm, very welcoming and very generous.

As for the children, well, I absolutely loved every minute of being with them. They were a complete delight an absolute credit to and Ibs. Honestly, they are like my very own.
