About Me
Hello there!
I am an approachable and warm hearted person, with a genuine love and interest in people. I am easy going and flexible; supporting parents and their extended families whenever possible.
I am a mother of twins, who are now 18 years old, so have a wonderful inside/outside view of parenting and raising a family. I am committed to the families I work for, have a very strong work ethic, am trustworthy and operate with integrity at all times. I keep to parents schedules/routines and help in setting up new ones, when required.
I love to encourage children's characters to bloom so I support confidence building and child led activities including role play. I am more than happy to join in and become a part of their world.
I encourage and gently teach children boundaries and essential life skills like good manners/good hygiene and passionately support their all round development.
Lastly, I am not precious about my nanny role as I am a team player, so I will always muck in where I can, whether that means running the hoover round, running errands, cooking for the family or doing the laundry.

My Experience
I am a professional nanny with over 30 years experience looking after infants/young children and I am seeking a part time role from mid September.
I live in Biggin Hill ( Bromley Borough ) and I currently support a wonderful family in Godstone, 18m girl & 3yr boy, this role comes to an end at the end of August.
I also support another great family, two boys, both with SEND 9 & 6 years old.
Having been a Mothers Helper for over 10 years supporting a woman with as many as 7 foster children and in addition a carer to two autistic young children, I have been afforded the opportunity to look after the wellbeing of vulnerable children in the care system, but also gained valuable experience in understanding the dynamics of complex family life and how to navigate competing expectations.
I have worked with extended family members in a professional and warm manner across several roles and am comfortable enough to lead or be lead in these situations.
I have a family of my own which includes twins (18yrs) so between my professional and personal experience, I have gained a 360 understanding of parenting and am apt to provide support to families with a multitude of requirements/expectations.

Oh wow where to begin… I needed a nanny on a short term basis for my 2 young children and I was so blessed to have found Charleen. She’s attentive, caring, playful, plays with the children in their world, constantly teaching them new skills and is an overall warm soul. You can tell children are drawn to her because she truly cares for them… this was evident to see in my children who kept asking when she will be back. My husband described her as a modern day Mary Poppins (we love Mary Poppins).
I had so much peace knowing my children were in great hands.
We have gained a new friend Charleen and she’s our first point of contact when we need a nanny again. I couldn’t recommend her more

Thank you so much Samia, your family is amazing and l made my job so easy. You guys were also genuinely warm, very welcoming and very generous.
As for the children, well, I absolutely loved every minute of being with them. They were a complete delight an absolute credit to and Ibs. Honestly, they are like my very own.
