Hello, my name is Melissa.
I am married with a young family of my own, so I understand first-hand the joys and challenges of raising little ones. I love gardening and find real joy in planting and nurturing things as they grow; something that inspires the way I approach childcare too. I love to bake, paint & read.
I also serve in my church.
My Experience
I have a background in mental health care, where I have supported people living with severe mental health challenges. I have worked with Children in CSE & completed nursing placements in hospices & Hospitals during the Pandemic. This experience has shaped my compassionate, patient approach and given me a passion for supporting not only children, but also their parents and families. My main experience comes from raising my own children now aged 4,6 & 14.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childminding, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, and an Advanced Diploma in Theology and Religious Studies. Alongside this, I am trained in Safeguarding Children, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene; all of which ensure that children’s safety and wellbeing are always at the centre of my practice.
My Availability
Monday - Friday - 8am - 5:30pm - I work from a non-domestic property in Knebworth but live in Letchworth. I have 1 space left for under 5s
