About Me
Hello, I’m Rebecca, a friendly and caring childminder with a passion for nurturing young minds through play and exploration.
I believe that children learn best when they are supported and encouraged in a caring, nurturing environment. I aim to create a space where every child feels safe, happy and excited to learn through fun and hands-on activities.
Being outdoors is a huge part of our daily routine! Whether we’re getting muddy in the garden, exploring nature or learning about the world around us. I love helping children connect with the environment. One of my favourite activities is growing organic fruit and vegetables – it’s a great way for the children to learn about nature, responsibility and healthy eating.
I offer a home from home environment with low numbers - my average day will consist of up to 3 children during school hours - with a small offering of after school care where appropriate. Alongside our time at home playing, exploring arts, singing, dancing , cooking and enjoying stories and more, we will also enjoy visits to park and learning about the world around us by helping with shopping, visiting the library and cafes.
I can’t wait to welcome your little ones into my home where they will thrive and develop in a fun, caring environment!
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience of working with children including in my home and in a OFSTED outstanding nursery setting as Second in charge and Room Leader.

My Availability
I have a place available from 1st August 2026. I offer 8am - 6pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1pm on Friday.
I currently do not offer term time only.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I offer full time places 51 weeks a year. Funded places are available, with the option of spreading the 38week funding over 51 weeks (termly) to balance your invoices more equally. I also accept tax free childcare payments.
Breakfast and snacks are included with paid for sessions, along with nutritional dinners served after 5pm for children who attend full days. Lunch meals and consumables (nappies, wipes, sun cream ect) are to be provided by parents. For children using funded hours only , breakfast, snacks and dinner can either be paid for additionally or supplied by parent.
