About Me

My name is Samantha, and I am the face behind Busy Bees & Butterflies. I have started my journey to become a registered Childminder. Working with children is something I have always wanted to do, it has been a dream of mine since I was little. I am going through all the necessary training I will need to keep your little ones safe. I am a mum of 3. 1 girl and 2 boys, aged 13, 9 and 6 years old.
I am a fun, loving person with lots of energy. I enjoy crafts, baking and adventures and look forward to sharing such activities with your children.
I am also a qualified Girl guides leader, where I currently help run a local Brownies unit.

My Experience

I have previous experience working with young children, especially during my time while gaining my level 2 qualification.
During my time away from a nursery setting, I become a mum, and have loved bringing up my 3 children with my husband.
I have run a Baby and Toddler group since April 2022, supported by my friend and this continues to grow.
I have a large family outside of my home life that include many children, so have had many opportunities to use my skills and qualifications. I am always happy to learn new things and take on adventures.

My Qualifications

NVQ level 2
Working on my Level 3 with city and guilds through Coram Pacey.
I will have a New pediatrics first aid qualification, DBS check, Safeguarding qualification and Level 2 food hygiene certificate before opening.

Childminding from £6.70 per hour
