Hello, my name is Lauren and I’m based in Arnold, Nottingham. I’m really excited to be opening Little Blooms Childminding later this year.

I offer a calm, home-from-home environment where children are cared for in small numbers, alongside my own 3-year-old. I’m particularly drawn to gentle, play-led care that allows children to feel safe, settled and confident in their own time.

It was during Covid, when I spent more time at home with my eldest son — exploring outdoors, learning together and following his interests — that I realised how much I loved supporting young children in this way. That experience is what led me to take the step into childminding.

A typical day with me is relaxed and child-led and may include walks to the park, local playgroups, singing and stories, garden play, and simple, nutritious meals. I follow children’s interests and keep routines flexible, especially for those who find big settings a bit overwhelming.

I will have two spaces available for children aged 0–4 and can also offer wraparound care for children attending Arnold View Primary School.

I am currently completing my Ofsted and local authority registration and plan to open from 14th September 2026.
