My Experience

I have extensive experience looking after children from a young age. As the middle of five siblings, I grew up regularly caring for younger brothers and sisters, which helped me develop patience, responsibility, and confidence with children. I also have a large extended family and have frequently looked after younger cousins, alongside completing regular babysitting jobs for families with children of different ages.

More recently, for the past three years I have worked professionally with young people aged 10–17 in the criminal justice system, many of whom have complex and additional needs. In this role I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and often use play, creativity, and relationship-building to develop trust, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour. I am DBS checked and bring a calm, reliable, and caring approach to supporting children’s wellbeing and safety.

My Qualifications

- DBS checked
- 2:1 in Criminology and Social Policy from Cardiff University
- 2:1 in Criminal Justice from Portsmouth University
- Qualified Probation Officer
- Your choice: cognitive behavioural therapy

My Availability

I work full time, but I’m flexible and available to babysit in the evenings and on weekends upon request. I’m happy to discuss specific days and times to fit your family’s needs.
