About Me

Hello my name is Katharine, I currently work as a teaching assistant in a primary school, I am DBS checked, first aid trained and have three years of experience in a primary school setting with children aged 3-11!

My Experience

I started my career at 16 as an apprentice teaching assistant where I worked with children aged 9-10, I later went on to work with children aged 3-4 and 8-9 to finish my apprenticeship. I was hired by my placement setting as a full time teaching assistant as of September 2025! Last year I worked in a reception class with children aged 4-5, however I was based in a classroom with children with special educational needs.

My Qualifications

I have achieved a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship qualification, Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Safeguarding training.

My Availability

My main availability is Friday evenings after 5pm and any hours during the weekend. However, Mon-Thurs evenings can be discussed depending on location :)
