About Me
Hello, my name is Danielle Inglis and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in the Thorney Close area of Sunderland. I live with my husband Alex and our two sons aged 5 years and 2 years. I will also be looking after my youngest son. I am fully qualified with a BA (Hons) Degree in Childhood Studies. I offer full time and part time places in my home where children can enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor toys in a safe, stimulating and nurturing setting. I am committed to providing a home from home setting which promotes learning, independence and creativity through exploration, child-led play and structured activities tailored to different ages and stages of development. I believe having positive relationships with parents/carers allows children to thrive and reach their full potential. I live in a Semi-detached house with a dedicated toy room and a large enclosed garden. I offer drop off and pick up from Grindon Infant School.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience working with children from birth to 18 years of age. I have worked in nurseries, schools and youth groups for many years. I worked in a SEN School for 5 years, which has given me extensive experience in this area. Alongside working with children in a professional manner I also have two children of my own.
