My Requirements

Hello - We’re looking for a full time Housekeeper / Family Cook with childcare responsibilities to join our family in South Kensington.

Hours: Mon–Thurs 1–8pm, Friday 2–11pm. Occasional extra hours and/or weekend support.

The role includes:
• Maintaining and cleaning the home to a high standard
• Adult laundry, linens, ironing and household organization
• Cooking a healthy family dinner every day and cleaning the kitchen afterward
• Keeping on top of household supplies, groceries and general organization
• Helping with our two young children every evening, including the bedtime routine and getting them to bed
• After bedtime, continuing household tasks while monitoring the children and helping if they wake
• Providing additional childcare support when our nanny is unavailable or extra help is needed

We already have a full-time nanny who is primarily responsible for the children during the day, so this is primarily a housekeeping/cooking role with an important daily childcare component in the evenings.

We’re looking for someone who is experienced, an experienced cook, very organized and detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, warm with young children and happy to become a long-term part of our household team.
