About Me
HI im a newly registered childminder offering a home from home setting. i live at home with my husband , our friendly boxer dog, and our african grey parrot. We have a lovely jungle themed play room ready to welcome your little ones . I am aim to provide a nurturing environment where children feel relaxed , safe and valued from the minute they walk through the door. We have a wide range of resources to suit all different ages , we will also spend a lot of time outdoors , exploring nature at local parks, visiting soft play, play groups, and many more adventures. Im very committed to providing the best i can for your children to allow them to grow with confidence and gain enough skills to be ready to head in to their next chapters .
My Experience
I have helped raise my 22 year old nephew since he was a baby having a very close connection with him , over the years he faced many challenges but he has now moved on to have a very successful job.
I have a 25 year career working as a retail manager which has given me a huge passion to support others to grow , learn and achieve .
I have also volunteered for many years with a local childminder , this allowing me to gain a lot of hands on experience within a setting ,
I am also continuing to develop myself with multiple training courses , making sure I am the best I can be,.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered , multiple child based training courses have been undertaken. Including safe guarding course and paediatric first aid training. Further course will be undertaken as I continue with my personal development.
My Availability
I have current availability between the days of Monday to Friday my opening hours being 7am until 6pm. I have spaces available from 1st September 2026.
We are open 47 weeks of the year.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
we accept funded places , however private rates are charged at £6.50 per hour
