About Me
We are a friendly French-English family living in a beautiful house in Toys Hill, surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside, and sharing our home with our friendly dog.
We are looking for a warm, reliable nanny to help us on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings / early afternoon, as I am returning to work part-time as a doctor. There is potential for the role to extend to Thursdays from the autumn when I increase my working hours.
We have two wonderful daughters, aged 3 years and 8 months. They are great fun—full of energy, curious about the world, and very chatty. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with young children, encouraging their development through play, and becoming part of our family routine.
My Requirements
The main focus of the role will be caring for and engaging with our two daughters. We have a large garden and plenty of outdoor space, so we would love someone who enjoys active play and spending time outside. There will also be opportunities to take the children to local playgroups, activities and outings.
Our eldest daughter will be starting preschool full-time in September, so the role will gradually become more focused on our younger daughter, who is currently 8 months old.
We would appreciate help with preparing and serving simple meals and snacks for the children. Our baby has recently started weaning, so confidence with introducing and preparing age-appropriate foods would be helpful.
We are looking for someone who is happy to help keep the children’s areas tidy, including tidying up toys after playtime, keeping bedrooms and play spaces organised, and managing the children’s laundry. We have cleaners who come three times a week, so no general household cleaning is required.
Above all, we are looking for a kind, energetic and proactive nanny who will provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment for our girls.
