Hi, I'm Vera, mum of Jasmine.
I’m a parent looking for a trustworthy, kind, and experienced childminder to help care for my child in a safe, nurturing and creative environment. Reliability, good communication, and a genuine love for children are very important to me. I’m hoping to find someone who can build a positive and respectful relationship with our family. We have the 30 hours funded by the government; therefore, looking for someone who can accept this. Looking at the area of Forest hill, Honour Oak and, a bit of a stretch, but could also consider Brockley, as I work in Bermondsey, and it would be easy to manage transport. We are looking for 2 days a week for now, ideally Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday) and Friday, but happy to consider other options. Timings: 7.30/8.00-17.00/17.30 or 18.
My Requirements
No particular requirements for my little one, just generally:
Background check and fingerprint clearance required
First Aid certification
Ability to supervise children at all times to ensure safety
Ability to follow health, safety, and hygiene policies
Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
Provide safe and clean environment
Prepare meals/snacks according to dietary needs
Follow daily routines (naps, playtime, learning activities)
Administer basic care
Strong communication skills with children and parents and possibly communicate daily updates
