About Me
I am Niesha & I am the owner and Childminder at Kiddiwinks Childcare.
I live with my husband, 3 children, 2 cats & 6 chickens. We live in our 3 bedroom home with a purpose-built toy room with direct access onto our child-friendly garden.
I love spending time with my family and have a passion for helping children develop new skills and feel proud of their achievements. I enjoy camping, being outdoors, and planting vegetables in the summer or chasing my children / chickens in the garden. I also love home cooking, dancing in the kitchen and you’ll often find me at the local farm or visiting soft play. I am a creative, organised and reliable childminder who loves supporting each child’s growth.
My Experience
I am calm, patient, and balanced—qualities I have developed whilst raising my own three children within five years. I have a background in education within the local authority and in health and safety with the NHS, giving me strong skills in planning, safeguarding, and creating a safe, structured environment for children. I followed my passion into childminding, completed my CACHE Level 3 in Childminding, and am now excited to bring my experience, care, and dedication to supporting children’s development every day.
I believe in a calm yet firm approach to childcare—providing clear boundaries that keep children safe, while encouraging independence, self-expression, and healthy development.
I love being outdoors and get out every day for different adventures and learning opportunities—whether that’s planting and playing with the chickens in the garden, splashing and building castles at the beach, visiting the local farm, or exploring the woods. Unless there’s a weather warning, I believe it’s important we outside in the fresh air!

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.55 per hour
Term-time funded care
Hourly rate (funded only) if attending more than funded hours: £6.55 per hour
Private day rate: £59 per day
Consumables (funded only): £5 per day
Mendip Green After School Pickup: £10 per session, including meal. Tax free childcare available.
8am - 5pm standard hours, early/late drop off available for additional fee
Fri/Weekend care available upon discussion at differing rate.
Some Private holiday club dates available Mon-Thurs
