About Me

Married with 2 grown up sons. Worked in banking for 30+ years, changed to teaching as very passionate about maths and helping students succeed in the subject. Enjoy most sports especially football, cricket and swimming , gardening and DIY. Currently learning basic Spanish. Enjoy socialising with family and friends and watching local theatre productions.

My Experience

16 years private GCSE maths, SATs,11+,13+ tutoring experience. Currently support maths in a local secondary school working with most year groups where I have worked for the past 11 years. Trained at 2 local primary schools working with predominantly Years 4-6 ( age 8- 11) for 3 years. Enhanced DBS. Very passionate about maths and using all my experience to help students become more confident in the subject, enhance their predicted grades or to achieve top grades to be able to continue their studies at University, pursue an apprenticeship or start a profession.
