About Me

I’m a first-time mum and I’m looking for support from a registered childminder or nanny only, please.

I’m hoping to find someone to help care for my little girl starting in a few months’ time. I’m self-employed, so my work schedule is flexible, and I would need help for up to three days a week maximum. I’m ideally looking for someone reliable, flexible, and long term.

I don’t have family support locally, so it’s really important to me that I find someone kind and nurturing who can build a lovely bond with my daughter and be a positive influence in her life.

My baby girl is currently 5 weeks old, and I’m hoping to slowly start returning to work around April, when she’ll be around 5 months old. She is formula fed and is a very happy, content little girl. As a first-time mum, I am naturally a bit anxious about leaving her, so I’d really like to take time to get to know you first.

Ideally, the care would take place in my home, though I’d be very happy for you to take her out and about to explore Cambridge. I often work from home, but with support I would also be out at least one of the days doing admin. I’m very open and flexible with how this works.

The three days of support can be flexible due to my self-employed work, and I’d also really appreciate some light household help — nothing major, just general mother’s-help type support.

I also have a small, friendly dog called Bella, a Cavapoo, so you would need to be comfortable around dogs.

I would love to see a few references and would definitely like to meet in person before moving forward.
