About Me
I am 22 years old and have recently moved to a small village outside of Banbury.
I grew up in a village on the buckinghamshire/oxfordshire boundary where I attended the local grammar school for my secondary education and then graduated from Cardiff University in 2024 with a degree in Philosophy.
I am very familiar with the local area having lived around Banbury and Oxford most of my life.
I spent the last 13 months living in Canada in the mountain town of Whistler; Spending time outdoors is a huge priority for me, however I also appreciate having down-time at home reading or painting. I am an outgoing and enthusiastic individual with an open-mind which has allowed me to thrive in the different jobs I've had.
My Experience
I have done a lot of babysitting for the local families with kids of various ages ranging from infants- 13 year olds. This was my introduction into child-care and I really loved spending my time with the local kids and engaging with their various interests/hobbies whilst making some pocket-money.
I also did volunteer work every weekend at the local horse-riding school when I was 12-15 years old. As well as general yard duties, I was responsible for working one-on-one with the children in their lessons if they neaded someone to lead them round. I was responsible for encouraging their positive engagement with the horses as well their progress. This job gave me valuable experience in engaging with kids of all ages as we worked with kids aged 4-16. It was incredibly rewarding work as I got to share my passion for horses, as well as seeing the progress the children made throughout those years.
In recent times I worked as a full-time nanny for a family that was visiting Whistler last winter. I worked with this family for the 2 weeks they were visiting as they needed full-time care for their 6 month old baby; occassionally they would leave their 5 year old in my care as well when needed. I worked 10-15 hour days depending on what the rest of the family had planned for the day. I was responsible for feedings, nappy changes, bathing and following their individual bedtime rountine. The parents would occassionally ask me to stay longer in order to have an extra pair of hands around which worked really well for the kids; I had a great repour with the parents and we have kept in touch since.

A-levels- Philosphy, Politics, Pyschology
Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy
Full drivers liscence
First aid trained
My Availability
I am extremely flexible with my availibilty as I currently don't have any dependents in my life. I understand that things can come up last-minute throughtout the day and so I am more than prepared to arrive early/stay late whenever is needed. I find it works well to communicate with the families if I have plans on my days off so you will already know if I am availible to work last-minute if necessary.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
