About Me
We're first-time parents with a baby boy born in early February 2026. He's now about 6 weeks old. We live on a quiet country road outside Cambridge, with farmland and footpaths nearby for walks.
I'll return to virtual work around 8 -9 weeks postpartum (mid-to-late April) and need a reliable, warm helper during this time. Experience with newborns is preferred to help with feeding, nappies, soothing, and light housework so we can focus on our son.
We have a friendly family dog who loves people (and puddles). No pet care needed, but you must be comfortable around dogs.
We're looking for someone calm, trustworthy, and practical to support us through these early months in our rural home.
My Requirements
A nurturing caregiver with newborn/infant experience to care for our baby with love and confidence:
- 15-20 hours per week (we're flexible on total hours)
- Ideal schedule: 10 AM – 4 PM Tuesday–Thursday + ad hoc if available/as needed
- Duration: May through September.
Bonus if you're happy to help with light household tasks (baby laundry, tidying play areas, simple meal prep) to keep our home running smoothly - but not at all a must.
Own transport is helpful due to our countryside location, but we're happy to discuss options.
If you're kind, communicative, passionate about newborns, and enjoy a peaceful country setting (with a sweet dog as a bonus!), we'd love to meet you!
