My Requirements

Seeking multiple roles including permanent employment and maternity cover for a delightful 7 year old boy with cerebral palsy. He is a very cheeky, fun and adventurous little boy with an hilarious sense of humour. He loves being active and doesn't let his disability stop him from doing much. He enjoys plenty of extra curricular activities including horse riding, swimming and bike riding. He has multiple therapy sessions throughout the week which are all lead by specialists who will provide training for the right candidate. He is flexi schooled so attends a local mainstream school 2 days a week, and has a tutor at home the rest of the time. He lives at home with his mum and twin brother who he loves spending time with.

The right candidate will be required to perform daily personal care such as washing and dressing - although he is getting more independent with this - light housework directly related to him, preparing meals, assisting him to his activities, making his play fun and exciting whilst encorporating tasks from his therapists, and keeping up with his sharp wit.

He has care 24/7 including day shifts which are 8-8 and sleep in shifts throughout the night. We are currently looking to fill all days. We need maternity cover from April but can offer shifts right away. We are offering competitive pay with enhanced rates on the weekend.
