Part-Time Housekeeper (Nw3) – 3X/Week, Laundry + Cleaning, Newborn Household (Until May)
About Me
Hi — we’re a friendly couple based in NW3. We’re expecting our first baby very soon (planned C-section) and we’re looking for reliable household support during the newborn period. We’re organised, respectful, and easy to work with.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and happy to follow clear priorities/checklists. We’ll agree a consistent weekly schedule and aim for a long-term fit through to May
My Requirements
Role: Live-out part-time housekeeper (housekeeping/laundry is the priority — not primary childcare)
Location: NW3
Duration: ASAP ? to mid May (fixed term)
Schedule: 3 visits per week, 3 hours per visit (daytime). We prefer a consistent fixed schedule (e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri), but can discuss days.
Core priorities (must-have)
1. Laundry end-to-end: sort / wash / dry / fold / put away
2. Kitchen + bathrooms reset: surfaces, sink, hob, shower/toilet (general weekly standard, not “deep spring clean” every visit)
3. Floors + bins/recycling
4. Bedding changes as needed
Nice-to-have (bonus)
• Comfortable around newborns / first-time parents (e.g., occasional practical tips, or briefly keeping an eye on baby while mum showers) — only if you’re comfortable and only when asked.
Newborn household hygiene
Because we’ll have a newborn, we’re strict on:
• handwashing on entry
• not attending if unwell
• mask if requested in early weeks (especially if colds are going around)
Requirements
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong references (ideally 2)
• DBS preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Paid trial shift required
Pay: £18–£22/hour depending on experience and quality.
Please message with your experience (especially laundry), availability, commute, and references.
