About Me

My name is Melinda and I am a friendly, reliable childminder based in Walton-on-Thames, living close to Grovelands Primary School and within walking distance of Xcel Leisure Complex, the river, the town centre and library.
I also have access to a local allotment, which provides wonderful opportunities for outdoor learning.

I have passed my Ofsted registration visit in January and am excited to be starting my journey as a registered childminder. Although newly registered, I bring over 12 years of experience working with children of different ages.

I offer a safe, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel happy, secure and confident to learn and grow.
My setting includes a dedicated playroom next to an open-plan kitchen, with direct access to a secure garden for outdoor play and exploration. Our home also includes a gentle, child-friendly French Bulldog.
In the warmer months, children can enjoy learning about and observing our tortoises, safely kept in an enclosed garden area- perfect for encouraging curiosity about nature and animals.

As a multilingual childminder ( I speak Hungarian, English, Romanian and Italian) I offer a rich and inclusive environment for children.
I provide fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, both indoors and outdoors, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

I am passionate about supporting each child’s individual development and interests, and I work closely with parents to ensure every child’s needs are met.
