My son is 5yr old, who recently started Reception. He has found the transition from nursery to reception difficult but has made vast improvements.
We are in process of trying to get him assessed for ASD/ADHD and request for an EHCP.
He is a clever and fun boy but does find hard to regulate his emotions and can be a bit impulsive with his reactions.
He requires familiarity before he starts to settle down with people and does really well with boundaries and routine.
