My Summary

My Experience

My childcare experience is mainly hands-on rather than qualification-based. I’ve volunteered at the Limitless Youth Festival for four years, supporting children and young people under 18, including a year working in the children’s ministry with under-threes and babies. I’m also part of the Sunday school team at my local church and have been a youth leader for almost five years, working closely with young people in safe and structured environments.

Alongside this, I have strong informal experience through caring for my younger sisters and babysitting for family friends. I’ve also looked after a newborn from just a few months old, providing full care such as feeding, nappy changes, and supervision while the parents were at work. I’ve completed multiple DBS checks through my volunteering roles and bring transferable skills from previous work in administration, care, and customer-facing roles.

My Qualifications

I currently hold an up-to-date DBS check and have completed safeguarding training through my youth work and volunteering roles. While I don’t yet have formal childcare qualifications, I’m more than willing to undertake any additional training or certifications if a parent or guardian feels it’s necessary.

My Availability

My availability is generally flexible, as I don’t have a fixed weekly schedule. My responsibilities can vary from week to week, so I’m usually available with sufficient notice. Depending on my schedule, I may also be able to take on last-minute bookings, although this is not always the case.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
