About Me

My name is Sinéad. I’m 31 years old. I currently have a 10 year old with another baby on the way. I currently work as a teaching assistant in a mainstream school with experience as supply in a SEN setting. I have nursing and healthcare experience in Harrogate district hospital but went back to university to get my Bachelors in Primary Education with a plan to become a teacher, however, for now I’m looking for babysitting jobs in evenings, weekends and during school holidays.

My Experience

I started by volunteering with my local scouts club at 16. I discovered my passion for childcare. I have years of experience babysitting ages from 5-12 years old. I having a nursing associate degree and a health and social degree but found myself wanting to back into childcare. To which I now work in a mainstream school predominantly with 3-5 years olds, which I love!

My Qualifications

Irish junior certificate state exams (GSCE Equivalent)
Irish leaving certificate state exams (a levels equivalent)
Level 3 in childcare and early education.
Level 2 in health and social care.
Foundation degree in science in nursing associate.
Bachelor’s in primary education.
Paediatric first aid trained.
