My Experience

As a Colombian native speaker, I offer lessons focused on speaking and expressing yourself in Spanish rather than formal grammar. Classes are designed to help students feel comfortable communicating, building confidence, and enjoying the language naturally.

I started playing guitar when I was eleven, completely from scratch. From that moment, music became a space where I could express myself and connect with my feelings, even when I didn’t have the words. Over time, I realized that learning guitar is not just about chords or technique — it’s about patience, creativity, and confidence. That’s why I want to make learning guitar friendly, fun, and inspiring for beginners.

Additionally, I can guide students in film appreciation. As a filmmaker I love helping students explore cinema, analyze stories, and understand how films communicate ideas and emotions.

My Qualifications

I’m from Colombia. I studied Social Communication and Sociology.
I have experience editing videos and images, and I’ve played the guitar since I was very young, which I love using as a creative and educational tool with children.

I consider myself a responsible, patient, and empathetic person. I have worked with many people in different community and cultural contexts, which has helped me develop strong skills in care, communication, and support.
I believe I could be an excellent tutor and childcare provider because I enjoy creating safe, creative, and trusting environments where children can learn and express themselves.

My Availability

I am available on weekdays, except Tuesdays and Fridays due to classes.
On Saturdays, I am available in the mornings.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £15.00 per hour

My hourly rate starts at £15 and may vary depending on whether the service is babysitting, Spanish tutoring, or guitar lessons.
