We are first-time parents to our eight-month-old son. My husband works full time in an office role, and I will be easing back into work as a dog trainer with flexible hours.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childminder who is passionate about learning through play and who follows a gentle, nurturing approach to childcare. Spending time outdoors is very important to us, and we would love to find someone who encourages outdoor play and exploration as part of their daily routine. Our baby can become easily overstimulated and is sensitive to noise, which is why we feel a childminder’s home-based setting would be much better suited to his needs than a nursery environment.
We are hoping for our son to attend for two to three days per week, depending on how he settles, and we are happy to be flexible with days and timings. Ideally, we are looking for care to begin around November or December 2026, when he will be approximately 18 months old.
