About Me

Hi! I’m a second-year children’s nursing student and I’ve always loved being around children. I’m kind, caring, and patient, and I really enjoy helping children feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

I took a year out to travel and speak Spanish, which helped me become more confident and adaptable. I’ve always known I wanted to be a children’s nurse, which is why childcare is something I genuinely enjoy.

My Experience

I’ve completed three placements during my children’s nursing degree, including a general paediatric ward, a GP surgery, and a neonatal ward. I’m about to start a placement in a special needs school, which I’m really excited about.

I’m first aid trained and have lots of hands-on experience with children. I’ve babysat for family friends and have worked part-time in retail and hospitality since I was 14, which has made me reliable, confident, and great with people.

My Qualifications

I have GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science, plus additional GCSEs in Spanish, Food Tech, Geography, and History. I also completed my A-levels in Chemistry, Spanish, and History. I did a foundation year and I’m now in my second year of my Children’s Nursing degree.

My Availability

I’m at uni on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I’m free in the evenings during the week and at weekends. My availability may change slightly when I’m on placement, but I’ll always keep you updated.
