Live Out Nanny Job in London
About Me
We’re a friendly family in Oakwood, North London (N14), looking for a warm, reliable nanny for our baby son.
We’re both working professionals and value a calm, nurturing home, good communication and a trusting relationship with the person caring for our son. We’d love someone patient and attentive who enjoys helping little ones develop through play, everyday experiences and consistent routines.
Our much-loved dog is part of the family, so being a genuine dog lover is important to us. We want Felix to grow up treating animals gently and respectfully.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a live-out nanny to provide one-to-one care for Felix in our home, four days per week, 8am - 6pm, starting as soon as possible.
We offer 40 guaranteed hours per week, paid monthly through payroll, plus paid annual leave and workplace pension.
Responsibilities include:
• Feeding, nappy changes, settling and nap routines.
• Supporting weaning and preparing fresh, nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks.
• Preparing bottles and cleaning feeding equipment.
• Planning engaging play, developmental activities and local outings.
• Felix’s laundry and keeping his nursery, feeding and play areas tidy.
• Supervising interactions between Felix and our dog and modelling gentle behaviour.
Household duties are limited to Felix’s care.
We’re looking for someone with baby-care experience, including weaning and nap routines. We welcome nursery practitioners moving into their first nanny role, as well as experienced nannies.
A warm, patient approach, reliability, punctuality and confidence working independently are essential. You should have strong childcare references, the right to work in the UK, and current paediatric first aid and an enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain these before starting.
Please get in touch with a little about yourself, your experience, availability and possible start date.
