My Experience

I have a children’s nursing degree from the university of Leeds. I have been in and out of children’s wards for over 5 years.
While working for the NHS I worked for two years on the congenital cardiac ward, primarily looking after babies from prematurity to children the ages of 16. My special interest is newborn babies and my love for the job stems from this.
I have worked in a nursery for school work placements and had time with the NHS children’s vaccination team. I have a full DBS check, life support training up to hospitals standard. I have also completed the High dependency qualification.

University degree in children’s nursing at the university of Leeds

Leeds teaching hospital high dependency qualification

3x A-levels in biology, sociology and health and social

Passed all of my GCSES: one of which was child development

Trained to a high level of life support outside and inside a medical setting

While at university and working on the ward I have undergone various different courses some including: safeguarding children, supporting child development, infant feeding, mental health or child and mum.
