Hello!
My name is Pippa. I live in Woodseats with my husband and our two wonderful boys, B(4) and F(9m). I am a children's speech and language therapist. My husband is a lecturer, based in York. Currently on mat leave, I am trying to 'maths brain' what our childcare situation might look like come September, when B starts school. Exploring all options, including the possibility of a part time nanny.
Prior to speech and language therapy I worked as a complex needs nanny in London (fulltime, part time and ad hoc/temporary). I absolutely loved it and would love to find a nanny who loved their job as much as I loved mine!
My Requirements
My husband and I are seeking a kind, creative, ofsted registered (or willing to register) nanny for three days a week (8am-5:30pm), from September 2026. The primary role is to care for F (who will be 14m by then), out and about and in our home in Woodseats. The role also includes school drop off and pick up, for our eldest and spending time with both boys after school. Would be a great help if you were able to prepare tea for both boys. No other household duties expected. Own car is essential, to manage a possible out of catchment school run (our first choice is in Bradway, we are yet to hear if he has a place).
