My Summary

My Experience

I've worked with children in lots of different settings and age groups. I have experience with children aged 15 months through to 17 years of age.

I've tutored children aged 7–13 for both 8+ and 11+ exams, helping with schoolwork and building confidence.

I've also babysat for family friends for the past four years, looking after children aged 6–12. This included helping with homework, playing creative games, doing bedtime routines, and keeping them entertained and safe while parents were out. During school holidays, I often looked after them for full days, which involved making meals, doing activities, and taking them to extra-curricular clubs like swimming.

I was also a volunteer cadet leader, running fun and structured activities for junior and senior police cadets aged 7–17 for around 6 hours a week.

In addition, I volunteered overseas in a nursery where I was responsible for around 20 children aged 15 months to 5, including children with additional needs such as Down syndrome.

As part of my medical degree, I've also taken part in Teddy Bear Hospital, where we visit primary schools to teach children about staying safe and help reduce fear around doctors and hospitals.

My Qualifications

First aid at work qualification.
Paediatric first aid qualified.
First aid at equivalent level to FREC 3.
Enhanced DBS.
Can provide references if required.

My Availability

My availability changes week to week depending on my university timetable, however I can commit to regular babysitting on weekends and evenings, as well as Wednesday afternoons.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
