About Me

Hello, my name is Jasmin, and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Poplar, Tower Hamlets (E14). I provide a warm, caring and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, valued and supported.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children in mainstream and SEN schools as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children both one-to-one and within the classroom. This experience has given me a strong understanding of children's individual needs, personalities, development and the importance of creating a positive and inclusive environment.

I believe every child is unique, and I enjoy helping children learn, grow and develop through play, exploration and meaningful experiences, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Children can enjoy a wide range of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, story time, sensory play, music and singing, educational games, imaginative play and outdoor activities. I also provide opportunities for local walks, visits to parks, libraries and children's centres where appropriate.

Our Outdoor Environment

My setting is a ground-floor home with a secure outdoor space and a good-sized private back garden where children can enjoy fresh air, physical play and outdoor learning. We also have a covered canopy area, allowing children to enjoy outdoor activities in a wider range of weather conditions.

There is a large green open space directly in front of our home, as well as children's playgrounds within walking distance. These provide additional opportunities for outdoor exploration, physical activities, nature experiences and child-led play.

I believe outdoor experiences are an important part of children's development and enjoy helping children discover the world around them through play, nature and exploration.

Working Together with Parents

Building strong relationships with parents is very important to me. I believe good communication and working together helps children feel secure and supports their development.

I will keep parents informed about their child's learning, achievements, routines and daily experiences, and I welcome parents sharing their child's interests, routines and individual needs with me.

I hold an Enhanced DBS check, a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate and have completed safeguarding training. My home has been carefully prepared to provide a clean, safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.

I offer childcare Monday to Sunday, 8:00am–8:00pm, with funded childcare available for eligible children, subject to the relevant local authority arrangements.
