Hi! I’m Lucy, a friendly, caring and reliable childcare professional with a real passion for working with children. I have a background in Childhood Studies and love creating fun, safe and engaging environments where children feel happy and supported.

I enjoy planning creative activities such as arts and crafts, story time, outdoor play and games that help children learn while having fun. I’m patient, calm and understanding, and I always work closely with parents to make sure I follow routines and meet each child’s individual needs.

I’m working towards becoming a Further Education teacher in childcare in the future, so supporting children’s development and wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do. Families can rely on me to be responsible, organised and nurturing, while making sure their little ones are entertained and cared for.

I have over 10 years (Plus) experience working with children.
I have worked as a Room Manager within a nursery - ages one year plus up to the ages of two years eight months.

I have been a Deputy Manager of a setting for over eight years in a Pre-School with children from the age of two to five.

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary school.

I am now a Deputy Manager of a nursery with children from the ages of 3 Months to 5 years.

I have an up to date DBS and can provide references upon request.

My Qualifications

I hold a NVQ Level 3 within Chilcare.

I hold a 2.1 BA Degree in Childhood Studies with SEN Specialism.

I have an up to date First Aid
certificate which is valid up until 2027.

I have Safeguarding certificates and many more CPD certificates in childcare.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.50 per hour
• Nannying from £19.00 per hour (gross)

£18-20 per hour for nannying.
