About Me
I am a 23-year-old mother of three children aged 7, 4, and 1. My eldest son attends primary school, my four-year-old daughter attends preschool, and my youngest son is currently at home with me full time.
I strongly believe in the benefits of early years education. My older two children are thriving, and their transition from preschool to primary school has been very positive. I feel that starting in a nursery setting at a young age supports the development of communication skills and social confidence, while also helping children to become comfortable interacting with a variety of trusted adults.
My Requirements
I am seeking a childminder or nursery placement for my youngest child to begin when he turns two. Ideally, I am looking for a provider who accepts two-year-old funded places. I would be hoping for him to start in April 2026 for a period of approximately 15 months, as he is due to begin preschool in September 2027.
I am not currently in employment due to health reasons, which means I have a high level of flexibility regarding days and hours. However, I would prefer the sessions to take place within standard school hours. My son attends a gymnastics class every Monday, which is the only regular commitment he has during the week.
My son has a strong interest in outdoor activities and enjoys exploring his surroundings. He is naturally curious, and while he may be reserved initially, he becomes confident and sociable once he feels comfortable. He is also very expressive and enjoys communicating.
One request I would like to make is that my son does not travel by vehicle during childcare hours, unless the transport is provided by myself or a close family member.
