About Me
We’re a relaxed, respectful family who really value good childcare. We want to build a trusting, long-term relationship with someone who feels comfortable and confident caring for Lula and becoming part of our support network.
If this sounds like a good fit, please get in touch with a short introduction and details of your experience.
My Requirements
Part-time Nanny / Babysitter for 1-year-old (8–10 hrs/week)
Start date: anytime from now
We are a friendly family looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny/babysitter to support us with our daughter Lula, who is 1 year old.
This is a small, regular role that would suit someone looking for consistent top-up hours — for example a nanny, nursery practitioner, student in childcare, or a mum with school-age children.
We are offering 8–10 hours per week, made up of:
• Mondays: 8:00am – 11:00am
Either morning or late afternoon would work.
• Fridays: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Either morning or late afternoon would work.
• One flexible 4-hour slot at the weekend
(either an afternoon or evening, agreed in advance)
Hours can be discussed but Monday and Fridays are definitely a requirement.
There may also be occasional additional babysitting hours, always pre-booked in advance, if we have an event or evening out. These would be optional and not part of the standard week.
On Mondays and Fridays, Mum will usually be working from home in another room, so support is nearby.
About Lula
Lula is a happy, curious, cheeky 1-year-old who enjoys playing, reading, being taken out for walks, and being cared for in a calm, responsive way. She attends nursery Tuesday–Thursday, so this role supports us on our home days and provides some weekend flexibility.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
• Playing with and engaging Lula
• Feeding her (all food and bottles provided)
• Nappy changes
• Supporting naps
• Keeping her safe, happy and well cared for
There are no housekeeping duties beyond tidying up after Lula (toys, bottles, etc.).
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience caring for babies or young toddlers
• Is calm, warm and attentive
• Has (or is willing to obtain) a DBS check
• Has Paediatric First Aid
• Can provide references
• Has the right to work in the UK
