About Me
Hello, my name is Maddie and I am a caring, reliable, and qualified childminder. I am also a mother to two lovely girls aged 8 and 3, which has given me valuable hands-on experience in understanding children’s needs at different stages of development.
I offer home from home childcare, a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure, and supported. I am committed to creating a warm, positive space where children can learn through play and daily activities. I also enjoy taking children out on regular outings, including visits to local parks, soft play centres, children’s groups, and the library. These experiences help support children’s social development, confidence, and love of learning.
My Experience
I have extensive practical experience caring for my own children, supporting their learning, routines, and emotional development. I understand the importance of building strong relationships with both children and parents and aim to work closely with families to meet each child’s individual needs.

My Availability
My working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. My setting is open for 47 weeks of the year. Additional hours on certain days can be discussed.

We couldn't be happier with the care our little one has received from Maddie. From day one, she's offered a nurturing and safe environment where our child has thrived. It's been wonderful to see her confidence, independence, and social skills grow so much. We know how valuable children are, specially if it is our first one! but Maddie has demonstrated she is the right person to support our family and has provided a second warm and cozy home for our child.
Maddie provides a fantastic balance of learning through play, creative activities, outdoor adventures, and plenty of fun. Communication is excellent, with regular updates, photos, and feedback, which gives us complete peace of mind.
It's clear how much genuine care, patience, and dedication go into her work. Our little one absolutely loves going each day, which says everything. We highly recommend Maddie to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

We are incredibly lucky to have Maddie looking after our little girl. From the very beginning, she has created a warm, loving, and nurturing environment where our daughter feels completely safe and cared for. Maddie is kind, patient, and genuinely loves children, and this comes through effortlessly in the way she looks after them.
Since our daughter started at Maddie’s setting, she has truly thrived in every aspect — learning through play, developing manners, growing in confidence, and most importantly, being genuinely happy. In fact, she often becomes very upset when I go to pick her up, which really speaks volumes about how much she loves being there.
We are incredibly grateful for the wide variety of activities Maddie provides, both at home and outdoors. The children enjoy a fantastic mix of play with different toys, visits to the library, exploring the outdoors, playgroups, playgrounds, soft play, and more. Our daughter always comes home well-fed, clean, changed, and in the best of moods.
Maddie is extremely trustworthy and always works closely with parents, especially when it comes to introducing changes or new routines. As a first‑time parent, I’ve also found her knowledge and advice to be invaluable — her guidance is always thoughtful and spot on.
We feel so fortunate to have found Maddie, particularly as I returned to full‑time work and was understandably nervous about leaving my child in someone else’s care. Maddie has given us complete peace of mind, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.
