My Requirements

A warm and welcoming four-people family in Wimbledon is looking for a dedicated, friendly nanny with some newborn experience to look after their 4-years old and newborn baby girl from January 2027. This will be a shared charge role with mum who's on maternity leave until May 2027, then transition to a sole-charge when Mum goes back to work. The older sister is at school full time Monday to Friday and baby girl will be 4-months old in January 2027. The duties include looking after both girls and the household work including: kids laundry, bottle and dummy/toy sterilising, feeding, burping, bathing, weaning, tidying up, picking up, activities with the girls and food preparation.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, pursing a healthy lifestyle, well educated, has good childcare qualifications and experience and would enjoy being part of a family that has a strong interest in music and the arts. Mum is musical and older sister loves art, so someone who enjoys music, arts and crafts and would be happy to incorporate these into activities with the children would be particularly well suited to us.

Hours: 9am/10am to 7pm from Monday to Friday on a permanent basis.
Start date: January 2027.

Candidate Requirements:
    •    Experience and qualifications with newborn babies as well as school-age kids.
    •    Warm, reliable and calm approach with strong communication and excellent spoken English.
    •    Strong organisation skills.
    •    Comfortable working in a shared-charge environment with a parent as well as sole-charge with kids.
    •    Level 3 or above qualifications.
    •    Flexibility for occasional additional hours when needed.
    •    Active and fit and enjoys a healthy lifestyle.
    •    Non-smoker.
