I ensured children felt safe, supported, and engaged, while also serving snacks when needed and maintaining a calm, organised environment until pick-up. This role required patience, clear communication, and strong awareness of safeguarding and routine, which I carried out consistently over several months.
My Qualifications
I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications; however, I have gained practical, hands-on experience caring for children in an after-school setting, where I developed strong supervision, communication, and safeguarding awareness through real responsibility.
