My Experience

I am a newly registered childminder and a mum, bringing both professional training and real-life childcare experience into my setting. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your child. My aim is to provide a safe, nurturing, and well-organised childcare setting where every child feels valued and supported, and where parents feel confident and reassured leaving their child in my care.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and Education (2:1) from Roehampton University (2017), alongside a BTEC Double Award in Health and Social Care with two Distinctions*. I have completed the Ofsted recognised EYFS Introduction to Childminding course. I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding and hold a full Enhanced DBS check. My partner is also DBS checked to ensure a safe and secure home environment.
I also hold a full driving licence, public liability insurance, and a Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Early Years.

My Availability

2-4 year olds all year round spaces available - including Full-time for immediate start from February 2026.

Opening Times: Monday- Friday 8am - 5:30pm ( I am closed on weekends, bank holidays and for my own holidays ( notice period of 8 weeks prior given).

Future childcare spaces.
I do not operate a waiting list. Any available childcare spaces will be shared on my social media pages and on childcare.co.uk if and when they arise.This keeps the process simple and transparent for everyone.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

Hourly Rates
£6.00 per hour (minimum of 2 days per week)
Wraparound care: £5.50 per hour

Holidays and Pre-Planned Closures:
If you take a holiday, fees will be charged at:
50% of your usual fees if at least 8 weeks’ notice is given
Full fees if less than 8 weeks’ notice is provided

I plan to take approximately 6 weeks of holiday per year. You will be given at least 8 weeks’ notice of these dates, which will mostly align with school holidays. No fees will be charged for any holidays that I take.

Funded Hours:
I accept payments through the Tax-Free Childcare scheme. For more information and eligibility, please visit childcare.co.uk.

Late Collection Fees:
If you are more than 10 minutes late collecting your child, an additional full hour will be charged.

Trips and Outings:
I will always inform you in advance of any planned trips or outings that involve additional costs, such as entry fees or spending money. These costs will be charged in addition to your usual childcare fees. Please note that if there are not enough children to make a trip viable, it may be cancelled.
