My Requirements

We are looking for a Highbury-based nanny.

We are looking for someone local to us because we would like a nanny who is open to longer shifts (8am-8pm). Though I will try to get home from the office before 8pm to let you away earlier.

I am temporarily taking 1 day off per week through to sometime in Autumn and then will be back full time. Baby's granny intends to look after baby 1 day per week (Monday).

Therefore our needs are that we initially need coverage 3 days a week, but this is likey to step up to 4 days per week, and indeed could be up to 5 days per week when gran is unavailable.

We will be able to guarantee 40 hours per week minimum, some weeks will have more and some week less (eg if a 3 day week) but average can be at least 40 hours.

We would like a nanny who is motivated to take baby out to playgroups/classes and the park every day, supporting her physical and social development (baby is walking and is very social). Developing baby through reading, crafts and play also sought.

We would look for a nanny who can cook for baby (possibly including batch cooking) and assist with baby's laundry. And to help with bedtime if it looks like we won't be home till closer to 8pm.

The ability to speak Tamil, French or Spanish to the baby would be a plus.
