My Experience

I have extensive childcare experience, having grown up in a childcare-focused environment where my mother worked as a registered childminder throughout my entire life. I have cared for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged children, and have been confidently changing nappies since the age of 16. I am experienced in supporting neurodivergent children, providing calm, patient, and individualised care tailored to each child’s needs. Alongside this, my training as a student nurse has given me valuable healthcare experience, including safeguarding awareness, infection prevention, effective communication, and delivering safe, compassionate care. I am also trained in Adult and Children’s Basic Life Support, ensuring I am prepared to respond appropriately in emergency situations. I am comfortable managing multiple children, adapting to different family routines, and working in homes with pets.

My Qualifications

I am a Student Nurse with formal training in healthcare and child safety. I hold Adult and Children’s Basic Life Support certifications, equipping me with the skills to respond confidently in emergency situations. I am fully DBS checked, including clearance to work with children and vulnerable individuals. My nursing training has provided me with a strong understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention and control, and effective communication, all of which contribute to providing safe, attentive, and high-quality care. I also hold a full driving licence and have my own car, allowing for reliable and flexible childcare support.
