Hello,
I’m wondering if you have any childminding availability or know of anyone who could offer childminding services for my daughter.
She’s 2 years old and has a requirement for additional services and support due to her disability.

She was diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy a month after birth, this is a muscle weakness condition which causes physical and cognitive impairment.

She is mobile, she can crawl unassisted and can walk (with assistance) if you hold her hand for stability.
She is oral fed and can drink orally but does have a G tube PEG for additional fluids and medication.

I have been seeking SEND nursery support for my daughter but unfortunately thus far none have been able to accommodate her due to the large number of children per class, and/ or they are already full with their SEND placements.

I have support from our local authority SEND services and a disability social worker who are also trying to find a SEND provider however I am being as proactive as possible to ensure my daughter doesn’t miss out on early years development, play and socialisation.

I really want my daughter to be able to play and make bonds with other children whilst also having her needs met, I feel that perhaps a private childminder, with a smaller group would be a brilliant option for her.

Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in or if you know of anyone that you would recommend I’d be so grateful.
