I’m starting a degree in Psychology and Child Development, with the goal of becoming a play therapist, so I take a thoughtful and nurturing approach to childcare. I enjoy planning fun, engaging activities and am happy to help with routines, meals, and creating a calm, supportive environment.
My Experience
I’ve volunteered at Pippa’s group nursery for the past year where I read to and designed activities to support particular developmental needs. I have done various babysitting jobs throughout the past two years and have helped lead a forest school group for 5-12 year olds.
My Qualifications
I have 9 GCSEs including Maths and English so I’m able to help with homework up to GCSE years. I’m a registered Kor u kids nanny and I have completed an EPQ titled ‘does parenting style have a significant impact on confidence’ in which I achieved an A* and A levels in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy. Psychology has informed me on research into attachment and cognition and development which has given me insight into what research suggests are the most beneficial ways to interact with infants for healthy psychological development.
My Availability
I am available full time from the 6th of June 2026 until September in the Lewes/Brighton area. From September, I’m looking for part time nanny work in the Winchester area where I am moving for university.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
I’m happy to negotiate lower fees for single parents/parents on low incomes
