My Requirements

Hi there! We're looking for a regular babysitter for Monday evenings, starting as soon as possible and continuing for at least a few months, with potential for some ad hoc daytime sessions as well. This is for our 2 year old who turns 3 in May. We live in BH4 near Talbot Health school.

A bit about him:

We think he's delightful (obviously ;)) and another babysitter/nanny who we've been working with for over a year agrees. We can give you her details if you need a reference. (She's no longer able to do evenings which is why we're now looking for someone else.)

He's potty trained and has no allergies or illnesses. He's a sociable little guy and he can talk well for his age so communication isn't usually a struggle. He loves playing with toy cars, reading books, drawing, stickers, and building towers.

He's mostly stopped napping during the day. This means your evenings together will mostly be an hour or so of gentle playtime and reading, followed by bedtime, and then you'll have a couple of hours to yourself :) (if it's a day when he DOES nap, he'll be awake for longer).

A bit about us:

My partner and I will be teaching dance classes at a local studio in Bournemouth. It's a new location for us, so it depends on how things go over the next few months, but our intention is for this to be a long-term engagement like it was at our old venue.

On that note, we also have another little one due in June. Inevitably this will shift things! The dance classes are likely to pause over summer anyway, and we're hoping that I (mum) will be able to return to teaching dance again a few months after that. Basically... it's a bonus if you're comfortable/confident handling two kids at once, with one of them being a baby.
