About Me

I’m a qualified teacher with paediatric first aid and a real passion for working with children, especially in the early years. I have recently moved back to the area having lived in Bicester for a year with my husband, who is in the army and my dog. I’m offering holiday cover on Thursdays and Fridays.

I’m bubbly, friendly, and nurturing and I love creating a happy, safe environment where children feel confident and supported.

I’ve been teaching at a local school in Bicester for a year and half, working in the nursery with 2-3 year olds. Prior to that, I taught at Winton Primary School for 3 years and before qualifying I was a teaching assistant for many years. I’ve got experience working across nursery through to 14 years old. I have a passion for supporting children’s mental health and helping them to reach their full potential.

My Experience

I have lots of experience with ages 2-8 but have also worked with children up to the age of 13. I can help with daily routines, school readiness and building independence, all through play, fun activities and positive encouragement.

I believe children learn best when they’re relaxed, engaged, and enjoying themselves, so I always balance structure with plenty of fun!

I’m reliable, calm, and approachable and I work closely with families to make sure children feel secure and parents feel reassured.

I’m available for nannying/babysitting on Thursdays and Fridays throughout all school holidays and potentially throughout the year and would love to support a family who is looking for a caring, nurturing professional.

My Qualifications

Qualified teacher with a degree in Professional Practice in Education. I have also recently completed a Level 2 in Supporting Children’s Mental Health and will be working as a Family Support Practitioner in BCP from April.

My Availability

Thursdays and Fridays during school holidays. Potentially could offer Thursday and Fridays outside of holidays too depending on pay. Am happy to do ad hoc, emergency cover, as well as regular nannying.
