Part Time Nanny Job In Leeds

Currently looking for a nanny from around September 2027.
My husband, fur babies (2 cats) and I live in a little cottage just outside of Harrogate. We work long hours but are pretty relaxed people once we get out of our ‘work mode’ in the evening. Our first (and only) human child is due in July 2026- a very unexpected plot twist! We have no family nearby and all our local friends are also career minded so we are looking to build our ‘village’ through in home childcare that can also support the running of our home & bring calm to any chaos. We’d be looking for someone reliable who can come and keep our house tidy, clean and organised through light housework whilst providing childcare 2 days per week- but we would love someone who has a level of availability the other days of the week to cover emergencies.
My Requirements
We are looking for a start date around end of August 2027- to work the following:
Wednesdays - 7.30am - 5.30pm
Fridays- 7.30am- 5.00pm
These days will be in our home in a small village just outside of Harrogate. Term time only, but can discuss ad hoc shifts in school holidays if mutually interested.
We would also ideally like someone who could work ‘emergency’ and ad hoc days, we would be happy to drop our child off to you on those days if needed. This is incase of our childminder closing or our child needing a more restful day due to illness/ generally feeling unsettled.
A car is needed to get to our home- whilst serviced by bus + 10 minute walk and train + 30 minute walk, due to the early start time and location of the house I’d definitely say a car is needed.
