Hello! My name is Olivia, and I'm from London but grew up in the south of Spain, meaning I speak both English and Spanish fluently and am also learning French. I'm studying Spanish and Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh and am in my first year. I started working with children the summer I was sixteen, tutoring an 8 and 11 year-old-boy as well as a 9-year-old girl English as a second language, which I continue to do on occasion when back at home in Spain. The past two summers, I have also worked at an overnight summer camp in the UK for nearly three weeks each time, including working with children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD and Down-Syndrome. As well as that, over the course of the year I was seventeen, I volunteered in my primary school as a teaching assistant for the year two class, working with 6 and 7-year-olds in English. I also currently tutor English Language A-level to a sixteen-year-old boy.
My Experience
When working at the boarding summer camp, my roles included ensuring children were fed, planning and running activities, putting the children to sleep, as well as waking them up. When tutoring and volunteering as a teacher assistant, I help children with their homework and schoolwork as well as plan interactive lessons.
My Qualifications
I'm currently studying Spanish and linguistics at the University of Edinburgh and am in my first year. I also have a set of 10 GCSE's and 3 A-levels.
My Availability
As a university student in my first year, I have quite a flexible timetable as highlighted.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
