About Me
Hi I am Emily of Treasured Gems childminding, I aim to provide a home from home environment experience for families. I have 3 children of my own 2 boys aged 13,10 and a little girl aged 4 who likes to get involved with helping look after the little ones. I also live with my husband who is a chef lecturer and our dog Maisy (12) who you will hear before you see her, she is very friendly around the children and has always been around children.
I have a playroom which was previously our garage which has been converted, and the living room and downstairs spaces are used as part of my setting too.
I like to get out and about and take the child to experience the world around them and their local community and also attend groups and look forward to meeting up with other childminders within the area.
My Experience
I have always been keen to work with children after studying childcare at college I gained my level 2 in 2007 and then I have worked in nursery settings since then and gained my level 3 qualification and my level 3 SENCo award too. I have had various roles within the settings I’ve worked at from head of rooms to deputy manager. I have been working with various ages within these roles from 3 months to school ages.
Also have had experience with newborns with having 3 children of my own. I am a newly opened childminder I have been open since January 2026. I look forward to hearing from you.
My Qualifications
I hold a level 3 in childcare and also a level 3 SENCo award. I also have my first aid and DBS.
My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm I work some of the holidays too.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My hourly rate is £7 per hour
