About Me

My space is a home from home environment, offering natural resources, in a calming environment. I am passionate about outdoor play and the benefits of being outside in nature offers us all. I very much believe in the quote "there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing".

My Experience

I have 12 years of experience working in a Reggio and Montessori inspired nursery.
I started as an Assistant and worked my way up to being a senior room leader before leaving after having my daughter in 2020. I then went on to create an outdoor nature based baby and toddler stay and play group, and had my son shortly after opening. I plan to keep and use when childminding and to meet with other childminders to create a community.

My Qualifications

I am a levels 3 in childcare and communication.
I have an enhanced DBS check, paediatric First aid training, safeguard training, level
2 in food hygiene.

My Availability

I will be opening 4 days a week:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Amazing childminder

Sophie is absolutely amazing and my daughter loves seeing her and spending time with her after a full day she still wants to stay longer! She has a lovely home from home setting, which includes lots of outdoor play and interaction.
She keeps me updated with everything throughout the day which is lovely to see and hear. Couldn't recommend Sophie enough!
