My Requirements

I work for the fire service on a 4 on 4 off basis. Looking for a childminder that may be able to accommodate my shift pattern. My 14m old currently attends nursery on fixed days and it is so expensive and lots of days I'm not actually working but have to book him in so we have cover for future shifts.

Would love to find a childminder that is able to offer a bit of flexibility with their childcare and/or a nanny share?

Just to clarify my shift pattern: I work 2 day shifts (7:30-4:30pm, followed by 2 x night shifts 4:30pm -7:30am) and then have 4 days off. So would ideally find a childminder that could accommodate this pattern so for example one week it could be Mon-Thurs full days, and then the next week it would be Tues-Fri full days, next week Weds-Fri full days if that makes sense. We currently live in Trowbridge but will be moving to Bath (Combe Down Area) in a couple of months. Our second son is due in November so we will be looking for childcare for both boys to start around Aug/Sept 27 time. Until this time we would love for our boys to build a rapport with a childminder so could do something a bit more ad-hoc for a few months before going full time when I return to work :)

Please message if this is something you could possibly help with (even part time as happy to try a combination of fixed days at nursery and childminder etc). Or any suggestions would be much appreciated!
